book for mistress of the art of death

Do you like reading? Do you want a space to talk and discuss the stories you read? Join us from 2pm to 3pm every second Tuesday of the month for our “Tuesday Book Club”!

Each month we will discuss a new book. Our next meeting will be held on September 10th, and we will be discussing “Mistress of the Art of Death” by Ariana Franklin.

In this historical fiction thriller, in 12th c. England, a forensic pathologist from Sicily is hired by King Henry II to investigate the deaths of 4 children in Cambridge, where wealthy local Jews are blamed.

Future meetings will be:

October 8th: “The Reformatory” by Tananarive Due

November 12th: “Gilgamesh”

December 10th: “The House is on Fire” by Rachel Beanland

Please note that you will need to obtain your own copy of the book for each month's discussion. Copies are available through the library consortium.

Registration is not required.
