The library currently has a limited number of the following forms:

Get Tax Forms at the Library 

The library has a limited number of the most-commonly needed federal tax forms and instructions. They are located in a display rack on the first floor across from the elevator.

The Reference Department can also print out federal or state tax forms as needed (10 cents a page).

Additionally, the Reference Department maintains a binder of the current year’s most requested instructions, which may be checked out for use in the library and copied (10 cents a page).

New Jersey Tax Forms and Publications

There are a number of ways to access New Jersey state tax forms.

• Call 1-609-292-6400 or 1-800-323-4400 to request NJ tax forms by mail.

Most commonly used forms:

• 1040 form
• 1040 instructions
• Schedules A&B

There are a number of ways to access New York tax forms.

Taxpayer Assistance

There are organizations that specialize in free assistance for taxpayers:

• VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program.(PDF, 66KB) Free tax help to people with low- to moderate-income, people with disabilities, and non-English speaking taxpayers.
• AARP Foundation Tax-Aid Program. Free tax help for low- to moderate- income taxpayers, especially those age 60 and older.
