Get Tax Forms at the Library

The library has a limited number of the most-commonly needed federal tax forms and instructions. They are located in a display rack on the first floor across from the elevator.

The Reference Department can also print out federal or state tax forms as needed (10 cents a page).

Additionally, the Reference Department maintains a binder of the current year’s most requested instructions, which may be checked out for use in the library and copied (10 cents a page).

Taxpayer Assistance

There are organizations that specialize in free assistance for taxpayers:

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. Free tax help to people with low- to moderate-income, people with disabilities, and non-English speaking taxpayers.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aid Program. Free tax help for low- to moderate- income taxpayers, especially those age 60 and older.
